| Here is an article on the new GT-R V Spec. _________________________________________________ Sounds ridiculous doesn't it? A hot version of a car that's already faster to sixty than everything this side of a FerrariEnzo, but it's true - the 'V-Spec' version of Nissan's supercar appears to be on its way. A traditional addition to the Skyline GT-R range, this V-Spec version is thought to have been on a rather strict diet. A diet that has shed 100kg through the use of an all-carbon fibre body and, it seems from the pics, the ditching of the rear seats. The V-Spec also gets a bit more power than the standard car, with initial information suggesting that it could be anything up to a 911 Turbo-trumping 512bhp, put on the road through a tweaked version of the R35's existing ATESSA-ETS four-wheel drive system. Elsewhere, the V-Spec gets new suspension; a naked carbon fibre bonnet, chin spoiler, rear splitter and side skirts; and what is almost certainly the coolest looking integrated roll cage in the history of the universe (see pic three). There's also two new wheel options, a bigger rear spoiler and a brace of new vents and scoops. Word is that Nissanwill be returning to the 'Ring with this one to set some more lap times - we wait with baited breath.
